Installation Concept
Multiple custom inflatables in the shape of the word SIGH float above the city reading information from crime watch data. Every night information is received from a network counting how many violent crimes occurred within the area of the inflatable, that number is then translated into the number of SIGHs being illuminated. One crime, one SIGH; two crimes, two SIGHs; and so on. Collectively it counts up to 6 violent crimes, each inflatable becoming smaller than the previous until the SIGH cannot be read anymore.
